My gardening degree is from the Inchbald School of Design in London, which has an intensive program that is specifically geared towards the finer aspects of garden design. I have continued my education by reading and studying about plants, planting, diseases, trees, shrubs, conifers, for more than 15 years.
Most of my experience is hands on. I have experimented with several plants, finding the most sucessful for our zone (4-5), climatic differences, different sites, even focusing on plants to deter problem animals that can decimate many species of plants, trees and shrubs.
I have worked on several garden designs in upstate New York, a rooftop garden in Manhattan, and a southwestern garden in New Mexico. Each one posing its own challenges. I look forward to working with you and creating a garden space you will enjoy for years to come.
